Dolderbahn - new meets old (Zurich/Switzerland)
It's time to change the actual rolling stock of the Dolderbahn in Zurich Switzerland. One new train is already in service - for testrides only. One of the old trains is still in service.
Join me for a cabin ride from the middle-station to the top and - in full length - the ride from the top down to the Römerhof station.

Heute genau vor 125 Jahren fuhr der erste Zug von Balsthal nach Oensingen (oder umgekehrt). Um diesen Tag zu feiern wurden die Güterzüge mit Dampf und die Reisezüge mit dem OeBB-eigenen Zug geführt. Am Nachmittag wurden Gratisfahrten von Balsthal nach Oensingen und zurück mit dem Roten Pfeil angeboten. The line from Brezno to Tisovec is the last line in Slovakia with normal gauge and cog railways. During normal services, the DMU „bread boxes“ are running without cog wheel, because those vehicules are strong enough to climb up/down the line. @@Tinuzeller okay but what about the UCL anthem itself? Not the walk out anthem, I mean the Champions League anthem. It sounds similar to the pre 2007 version. Did they accidentally play an updated version of the anthem for the 2024-27 or an older version of the anthem (pre 2007) ?

Vor 3 Wochen war die Strecke geöffnet. Und aktuell ist auch keine Sperrung bekannt.
